If you’re a fan of the ocean, L.A. is definitely a viable destination. Grab a towel, sunscreen and bottled water (an area staple), and head out to any one of the city’s 33 public beaches. With more than 75 miles of coastline, you can be sure to find a patch of sand just for you!

Malibu Creek State Park is located next to Paramount Ranch, and like its neighbor, was owned by 20th Century Fox at one point in time. The park features dozens of rated riding trails, all open to the public. Amongst the many famous films that were shot at this park, the most notable include Planet of the Apes, M.A.S.H. and Swiss Family Robinson.
